Canada Fishing 1970's

When I was young, my Dad, several uncles, some cousins, a I took a trip up to the Great White North of Canada for a week of camping and fishing. We caught so many pike and walleye we didn't know what to do with them all. At times we would hook huge red horse fish that were so large they would pull the boats around. It was amazing. I wonder what the fishing is like up there now.
