Nice 22 Inch Walleye

Here's a nice walleye that gave a good fight. This one hit on a dead stick fathead. Only one more week before the season closes, but it's been a fun one! The crappies continue to bite as well.

Next weekend I plan on pulling the shack off the ice. I may add some insulation and some tweaks to the shack before next winter. It's a work in progress. I can't wait to get back out there and catch more of these awesome walleyes on Forest Lake!

Good evening Paul!

That is a nice keeper, well done! I haven't had a chance to go for walleye ice fishing in the Montreal area so far this winter. Every week-end, the temperature goes up and we always get some rain. To risky to go on the ice. Only 90 days and the summer walleye fishing season will start. Keep posting the walleye pictures.
