New Year's Eve Walleye

I moved the shack out in 15 feet of ice and found the walleyes! This will continue to be a great winter of ice fishing.

The Northern Pike Continue

Caught a few nice northern pike Today and had my favorite meal of fish and chips for dinner. I really love having the fish house out on the lake this year. What a blast and hard to beat the delicious meals!

First Pike of the 2007 - 2008 Winter

Here's a picture of the nice northern pike I hauled in ice fishing Today. It was around 8 pounds and about 30 inches long. I saw many huge pike circle my bait and take a bite and run but this is the only one that took the bait. Some of the fish down under the ice were really huge. I wonder if some may have been muskies. More ice fishing to come!
